Hello! Thanks for extending curiosity and venturing to my investment page. Here's a little about me and how I work with amazing people like you to capture many moments of love. My passion is photography and humans, working with people in a creative setting. I was introduced to my first love, the darkroom, in 2004. I studied art & photography in college, and graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor's in Fine Arts, concentration on darkroom photography and art education. From 2012 to 2022, I worked in arts education and taught high school level photography. In July 2022, I became a mom, and realized the deeper desire I have to work in a more intimate setting, and am currently pursuing elopement, engagement, and people photography. I'm thrilled at the opportunity to work with students of all ages and open their world up to the magic of photography. It brings me genuine joy capturing sweet moments between friends, family, and significant others. I look forward to connecting with you, and capturing moments in your world. |
So, why choose me to capture your moments? Great question. First, my rates are extremely competitive; I'm just starting to break out of the education world and into starting a small photography business. Like you read above, I'm not new to photography or working with people, I have 10+ years professional experience in that realm. My goal is to give you a great experience resulting in high quality photos for a steal in hopes of growing my small business. Second, based on reflections from colleagues, leaders, and students in my former teaching role, I have always been recognized as being kind, empathetic, adaptable, and hard-working. In addition to positive reflections from former students and colleagues, I have earned the role of a distinguished teacher in Denver Public Schools two years in a row, which is a small indication of my work ethic and ability to connect with others.
